Kiblah Education Group was established in early 1992. The principal founder was Sheikh Dr Ismail bin Omar. After 11 years in Mecca, he decided to open an Islamic School under the Nusantara Charity Foundation. This non-profit education institution based on the Manhaj Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah was fully supported by various educational icons of Malaysia and Islamic preachers including Allahyarham Tan Sri Dr. Ainuddin Wahid who was the Vice Chancellor of Technology University of Malaysia, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jalaly, Syeikh Sulaiman As-Salumi and Sheikh Abdul Qadir AlMandili. The Education Complex located at Jenderam Height, Sepang, Selangor currently operates 4 entities namely KIBLAH School, Maahad Tahfiz KIBLAH, KIBLAH Professional Skill College, and KIBLAH Academy of Tadabbur Al-Quran. This Education Complex had honourably been visited and recommended by various well-known personalities such as Sheikh Dr Abdul Rahman Sudais, Imam Masjid Al-Haram, Mecca and Sheikh Salah Budair, Imam Masjid An Nabawi, Madinah Sheikh Khalid Ghamidi, Imam Masjid Al-Haram, Mecca The Nusantara Charity Foundation is currently headed by Tan Sri. Dr Hashim bin Meon, former Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence Malaysia and also the former Chairman of Selangor State of Islamic Council.
