About KIBLAH

Kiblah Education Group was established in early 1992. The principal founder was Sheikh Dr Ismail bin Omar. After 11 years in Mecca, he decided to open an Islamic School under the Nusantara Charity Foundation. This non-profit education institution based on the Manhaj Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah was fully supported by various educational icons of Malaysia and Islamic preachers including Allahyarham Tan Sri Dr. Ainuddin Wahid who was the Vice Chancellor of Technology University of Malaysia, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Jalaly, Syeikh Sulaiman As-Salumi and Sheikh Abdul Qadir AlMandili. The Education Complex located at Jenderam Height, Sepang, Selangor currently operates 4 entities namely KIBLAH School, Maahad Tahfiz KIBLAH, KIBLAH Professional Skill College, and KIBLAH Academy of Tadabbur Al-Quran. This Education Complex had honourably been visited and recommended by various well-known personalities such as Sheikh Dr Abdul Rahman Sudais, Imam Masjid Al-Haram, Mecca and Sheikh Salah Budair, Imam Masjid An Nabawi, Madinah Sheikh Khalid Ghamidi, Imam Masjid Al-Haram, Mecca The Nusantara Charity Foundation is currently headed by Tan Sri. Dr Hashim bin Meon, former Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence Malaysia and also the former Chairman of Selangor State of Islamic Council.

Our Achievements

2022 marks the 30th anniversary of Kiblah School. Back in 1992 Kiblah was established with a mission “to develop excellent generation by maintaining the Islamic values with positive mindset and the highest standards of quality of life’ as a private Islamic school under the Malaysia Ministry of Education. Since then, we are proud to empower more than 4000 students from all over states in Malaysia to transform their lives through our integrated Muslim educational and traditional learning of Al Quran to enhance the development of societies and economies across the region and beyond.

Tan Sri Dato' Hashim Meon (Chairman YAKIN)

Formerly the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense Malaysia, His extensive experience covers the fields of Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Communication, Training, and Education, including as the Director of the Malaysian Students Department in Sydney, Australia (1976-1980). Tan Sri Dato ( Dr) Hashim Meon former Secretary General Ministry of Defence, Selangor State Secretary Chairman Selangor Islamic Religious Council ( MAIS).

Dr. Ismail Bin Omar

Executive Director of YAKIN. An independent lecturer and author. Graduated in Bachelor of Natural Resoruces (Hons Class One), from the University of New England (Australia), and various entities in Makkah Al-MuKarramah. Worked as lecturer at UPM University, worked as an engineering consultant, mining sector, and ran own business , in travel agency , construction, information technology and hotel management.

Alumni of the International Islamic University Chittagong and obtained a diploma under the esteemed supervision of the Islamic University of al-Imam Muhammed bin Saud (KSA). He published 5 books and numerous articles in prestigious magazines, daily newspapers, and news portals. He also takes part in local and International conferences and seminars related to education, Muslim, and Islam.
